  Learning not to be judgemental

  the other day i realized that i am having trouble learning not to be judgemental.

  as a witnesses i was always looking at others and judging them.

  now, this is the most difficult thing to quit doing.

  Hi there and welcome -

  I think that being judgemental is an essential part of the witnesses' psyche. As they put themselves forward as the only true religion then the natural consequence of this is for their followers to believe that they are right. It's this deeply ingrained sense of 'being in the right' that develops into a habit and can be therefore difficult to break.

  JWs are constantly bemoaning the lower standards of ' worldly people ' and rejoice smugly in their own superiority, although we all know that this is a complete joke. It's a hard habit to break, but as time goes on it gets easier.

  itsn't it amazing playing those old arcade classics, cant believe how old some of those games no are, and i remmeber shoveling so much money into them as a kid.

  I don't use MAME but I have installed a Spectrum 48K emulator on my pc. It's brilliant playing the old games - does anyone remember Horace Goes Skiing? Steve Davis snooker?

  i was trying to put my son to sleep, there he is leaning on me and i'm humming, and realized it was a kingdom melody.

  i just thought i'd post pictures of what my guitars look like.. first one is a fender stratocaster, although technichally, i have a strat clone, (j reynolds) it plays like a strat and looks like a strat.. .

  second one is an aria pro 2 urchin.

  it's a perfect guitar if you're looking for the type o negative sound.. .

  i have visited several churches with family and friends and this is something that i cannot get used to.

  i do not know if this is basically done in black churches or not ( i am aa) but it makes me a little uncomfortable.

  i will say that i have had feelings in these churches that i have never felt in the kh.

  Thanks for taking the time to reply - I'll say this tho, legal document or not, there is no way I would stand back and allow anything to endanger my mum's life.
  
  I wouldn't give a damn what trouble it caused either - people really need to be educated about the dangers of the WTS. Bizarre beliefs that don't physically harm anyone are one thing, but threatening people's mortality is a totally different game altogether.
